Dumpling Soup in the Can Cooker Jr.
The Can Cooker Jr. is one of the coolest little cooking pots I've used. I found the inspiration for this recipe on the Can Cooker Website and made a few adaptations.

Ingredients:
1 (32 ounce carton) Chicken Broth
1 pound Chicken, Wild Turkey, Squirrel or Other Game Meat, cut into bite sized pieces
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt/Pepper to taste
1 (10.5 ounce can) Condensed Cream of chicken Soup
3 medium Carrots, chopped
2 Celery Ribs, diced
1 small Onion, diced
Homemade Biscuits
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup cold sour cream
1/3 cup cold milk
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
Add chicken broth and chicken or other meat into @CanCooker Jr. Season meat with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Cook over medium/low heat for 10 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients, except for biscuits. Cook over medium/low heat for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and sugar in a medium bowl. Add the milk, sour cream, and melted butter. Use a folding motion to combine and form a dough then pat biscuits flat on a cutting board and cut into pieces.

Drop strips one at a time into chicken mixture, avoiding touching. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking.
